...I happen to be a theistic (or is it deistic?) Religious Naturalist. I choose to define God as the Creator. Since our universe was created by the Big Bang (BB) that makes the BB God. Before I chose to define God in this way I was an agnostic.
The Big Bang constantly answers our prayers by providing everything we need for us to exist. So far as I know, however, BB would do this even if we did not pray and did not believe. BB also set up a bunch of rules that we must follow (e.g. gravity, speed of light), but since there is no way for us not to follow these rules there is no way for us to "sin."
I have compiled my thoughts about BB into the lyrics of a song entitled "Big Bang." The lyrics are:
Big Bang created space and time,
a universe of light,
of mass and heat and sentient life,
of touch and smell and sight.
Big Bang set universal laws
of mass and force opposed,
repulsion and attraction bound,
the speed of light enclosed.
Refrain: There is no God, there is no God, there is no God but Big Bang
We are the spawn of our Big Bang.
It's laws are where we start.
Our destiny is tied to all,
our task to play life's part.
Big Bang has built a wondrous stage
and written us good lines.
Yet we can only read the past
and scan the now for signs.
Refrain
Thus we must guess as best we can
the who, where, why, and what,
and thoughtfully ad lib our lines
as if we knew the plot.
The play performed will thus define
one universe of thought,
one version of reality.
What hath the Big Bang wrought?
